How did I get bed bugs?

You can get bed bugs from various places:

• You visit the home of someone who has bed bugs.
• You work in a high turnover occupancy building, (e.g. hospitals, rehabilitation centers or hotels)
• You live in a city where you use public transportation like subways and buses
• You have neighbors in the same building who have bed bugs. Bed bugs are known to travel through cracks and crevices in walls, floors and ceilings.
